Cancer Voices riders at Norwood (6.15am) before the Mutual Community Challenge ride of 135km to Strathalbyn. We had more than 90 riders in our team this year.
Lance's Twitter Ride 15th January 2011
About 100 Cancer Voices riders came out for the Twitter Ride, and got to ride to Glenelg alongside Lance. (In case you didn't recognise him...it's Lance in a Cancer Voices jersey!) At Glenelg we were joined by about 7,000 other cyclists who responded to Lance's Twitter invite.
Thank you Ben Flannagan, Christmas 2010
THANK YOU to Ben Flannagan (EFM Stonyfell) for training tips, motivation, team development and support on training rides since the Cancer Voices SA Cycling Team began in Dec 2008. Much appreciated! We presented a 'Certificate of Appreciation' to Ben at our pre-Christmas training ride, 19 Dec 2010.
It was a small group out for Training, on a cold, windy and wet day in December! Usually 27-30 deg C here at this time of year. Many of our riders were off doing the 'Toy Run', cycling to Glenelg with toys for kids for Christmas.
Ashleigh and Con after the Training Ride. Ashleigh rode up to Mt Lofty again today, showing determination and courage after lung cancer surgery and while having daily radiotherapy and 3rd of 8 rounds of chemo. Inspiring stuff mate!.
Jersey distribution, after training ride on 24 October 2010
Our new jerseys were distributed to the team on 24 Oct, after the training ride.
Thank you Ashleigh Moore for the many, many, many hours of thinking and working on the jersey design, sourcing suppliers and your attention to detail to ensure they were manufactured correctly. They look good and feel good to wear!
Thank you Jo West (Jo West Creative Graphic Design) for your many hours of work on the design.
Thanks Con Nakos for sharing your photos.

CVSA Interstate and Overseas
We love seeing the Cancer Voices SA "Flag" making it around the Globe - and spreading the cancer awareness message. See photos in our gallery below. Send us a photo to show where you've 'raised a voice for cancer', wearing your Cancer Voices SA jersey interstate or overseas.
