Mark Copping

Mark is a South Australian native, born and raised in Mount Gambier.   A Chartered Accountant by training Mark has worked in Investment banking in London as well as Chartered accounting in Sydney.

A cancer survivor and self-confessed sports addict, Mark enjoys AFL, Rugby Union and Cycling. Mark has a Masters of Applied Finance and currently also  Lectures a Masters course in Accounting. In addition to his personal experience with Cancer, Mark has witnessed several members of his own immediate family deal with their own cancer set-backs.

In 2007 Mark was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, despite having always enjoyed a healthy lifestyle and reasonable good health. With the tremendous support of his wife and young son, Mark undertook a treatment program over the course of 12 months that included Surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The treatment was successful until November 2010 when Mark was diagnosed with a recurrence of the original brain tumour and underwent further surgery and chemotherapy.
